Integrated Mental Health & Reproductive Care Specialist | Health Equity Advocate | Trauma-Informed Clinician

Timothie Rochon is a dual-certified advanced practice nurse and a Doctorate of Nursing degree with over 30 years of experience in healthcare. As both a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), she offers a holistic approach that bridges physical and mental health care.

Currently practicing at A Woman’s Time in Portland, Oregon, Timmie is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered environments. Her clinical expertise spans reproductive health, mental health care, gender-affirming care, and crisis intervention.

Timmie is particularly passionate about women’s health across all life stages, with a special focus on the mental health challenges and physical changes experienced during perimenopause through postmenopause. Recognizing that women in these stages often feel overlooked by the medical and mental health communities, she integrates her expertise in both women’s health and psychiatry to develop personalized care plans that address each individual’s unique mental health needs.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2013, completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Healthcare Leadership at George Washington University in 2018, and obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2024. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to serving marginalized populations and advocating for systemic changes to promote health equity and accessibility.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Timmie enjoys spending quality time with her partner, children, and grandchild, as well as her pets. She finds joy in home improvement projects, gardening, coastal getaways, and indulging in mid-century design aesthetics.
